Aspinal appoints PwC as it gears up to sell stake

Accessories brand Aspinal of London has reportedly appointed accountancy firm PwC to find an investor for the business.

The handbag firm will sell a stake to fund international expansion, according to The Daily Mail.

The deal is likely to value Aspinal, which was founded in 2001, at £75m.

Aspinal is stocked in department stores including Selfridges, Harrods and House of Fraser. It also has seven shops in London and one in Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.
