Aspinal seeks investors for international expansion

Luxury leather goods business Aspinal of London is working with corporate finance firm Cavendish to identify investors to fund its international expansion plan.

Options for the business could include selling a minority stake.

Aspinal was founded by entrepreneur Ian Burton 14 years ago and made sales of £1.3m in the year to March 30, 2014.

The company has five standalone stores in London, and concessions at Harrods and Selfridges. It is set to open its first store in America this month and a second store in Abu Dhabi.
