BAA Retail boss to leave

Colin Hargrave, managing director of UK airport retail at BAA will leave next April.

BAA Retail's commercial director Duncan Garrood will take on Hargrave's responsibilities.

Hargrave said: "I've had an amazing 11 years with BAA, leading the team through the loss of European Duty Free in 1999, the Gulf War, foot and mouth, 9/11 and the various terrorist threats of the past years. The continued development of the retail proposition will come together in the opening of Terminal 5. This seemed an appropriate time for me to move on to new challenges."

BAA operates airport at Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Southampton in the UK.
