Bank to open first Irish store

Bank, the JD Sports-owned chain, is opening its first standalone store in the Republic of Ireland at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Dublin.

The young fashion chain has signed for a 4,700 sq. ft. store over two floors. The retailer is one of a number of chains to take space in the retail development, which is now almost fully occupied.

Sister brand JD Sports is to triple the size of its store in the complex by opening a 10,690 sq. ft. store. Outdoor brand Timberland, footwear retailer Skechers and Diesel have also signed for space in Liffey Valley.

Liffey Valley is jointly owned by Aviva Investors and Grosvenor. The centre’s lettings and management is operated by Savills in partnership with Strutt and Parker.
