Heritage menswear brand Baracuta will open its first store at 14 Newburgh Street off London’s Carnaby Street this summer.
The compact two-floor store will open towards the end of July. It will be operated by Kevin Stone of Stone Agencies, who has been associated with the brand for around 12 years. He is also responsible for sales across the UK and Ireland.
Stone said the store will stock the full Baracuta range but will also sell in-store exclusives.
The brand is also introducing a women’s collection for spring 16, which is being sold by the Macandi agency.
Baracuta was founded in Lancashire in 1937 and was bought by Italian distributor WP Lavori in 2012. The store is owned by 460 London Limited and is a division of 460 West Broadway, which runs Baracuta.
