Barbour has strengthened its senior management team by appointing Paul Johnson Barnett as head of distribution and David Cottage as head of global ecommerce.
Johnson Barnett joins the British brand from art and craft retailer Hobbycraft where he was logistics and supply chain director. He was also previously operations director at lifestyle brand Animal from 2007 to 2008.
Cottage previously worked as head of ecommerce at computer company Hewlett-Packard and will be working closely with Paul Wilkinson, global head of marketing in his new role to develop Barbour online.
Barbour’s managing director Steve Buck said Johnson Barnett’s and Cottage’s experience will “assist Barbour in [its] vision to become the best British lifestyle brand worldwide by 2020”.
