Barbour to collaborate with Christopher Raeburn

Heritage brand Barbour is to collaborate with British designer Christopher Raeburn to produce a new womenswear line for autumn 14.

Inspired by Barbour’s archives the line will adopt a military look, incorporating the brand’s famous tartan with Raeburn’s iconic snow spot print.

The collection, which set to appear in selected stores in August 14, will feature jackets, knitwear, shirts and shirt dresses and a selection of accessories.

Sarah Lawrenson, head of womenswear at Barbour, said “Together, we have created a collection which not only captures the essence of Barbour’s military heritage but also reflects the signature handwriting of both brands.”

Raeburn added: “I’m proud of the fun, feminine collection that we’ve been able to achieve through the collaboration.”
