Outerwear brand Barbour has partnered with premium British brand Alice Temperley to launch a womenswear range for autumn 11.
The luxury capsule collection, called Barbour Gold Label by Temperley, will take inspiration from Barbour’s classic styles and fabrics and combine them with Alice Temperley’s signature style of ‘timeless glamour,’ according to Barbour.
Barbour managing director Steve Buck said: “Our popularity as a fashion lifestyle brand has grown rapidly and launching a premium womenswear collection, Barbour Gold Label, is the next natural step in satisfying this demand.
“Gold Label is new, directional and fresh and we wanted to work with a British designer who could capture this feeling yet still remain true to Barbour’s heritage.”
Alice Temperley added: “Barbour, one of my favourite British brands, is the perfect fit for Temperley. As we plan to celebrate our 10th Anniversary in 2011, this collaboration comes at a significant time for our brand and offers our customers even more to choose from than ever before.”
The range will be available from selected Barbour and premium wholesale stores worldwide next summer.
