British heritage brand Belstaff is launching its first standalone pop-up in Toronto, as it continues its overseas expansion drive.
The new pop-up will be located at Yorkville Village, Toronto, and will open on 1 September. Belstaff said it will be the brand’s first stand-alone retail space in Canada.
It will display its full menswear offering, which includes outerwear, denim, footwear, accessories, eyewear and small leather goods.
Meanwhile in Japan, Belstaff will open a space in department store Hankyu Men’s Tokyo branch, where it will showcase its full autumn 17 menswear collection.
It marks its fifth launch in the country since its Japanese business launched 18 months ago. An additional men’s pop up store will open in Hankyu Men’s Osaka, running for a month from October.
Belstaff chief executive Gavin Haig said: “Both openings represent the further strengthening of the roll-out of our strategy.”
Belstaff operates showrooms in London, New York, Milan and Munich. It is currently sold through its London flagship on New Bond Street and twelve stores in Europe, the United States and Asia online and through wholesale distribution.
