Ben Sherman hooks Addict footwear licence

Ben Sherman has signed a licensing deal with young fashion brand Addict to produce a range of Addict footwear for autumn 08.
Made and distributed by Ben Sherman, the Addict footwear range will be in keeping with the brand’s contemporary design. It will be available to order from January, although specific style details and wholesale prices are still to be confirmed.

The deal is the latest part of a business drive for Southampton-based Addict, which opened a flagship store in Earlham Street in central London in October. The store is adjacent to Stussy and Adidas Originals.

The flagship’s sharp black, white and grey shopfit was designed by Brinkworth, the agency behind the design of contemporary womenswear brand Frost French’s Islington store in north London and Karen Millen’s shopfits.

Addict has 130 UK accounts and more than 600 globally.
