Ben Sherman relocates to bigger Long Acre unit

Ben Sherman is moving to a bigger store on Long Acre in London’s Covent Garden to showcase more of the brand’s range and house an in-store barber shop.

The men’s young fashion brand currently occupies a store at 49 Long Acre which totals 1,713 sq ft across the ground and basement floors and will move to a larger store at 119 Long Acre on November 15. The existing store will be vacated and the lease will be put up for sale.

A spokesman told Drapers the new two-floor, 4,000 sq ft store - which was previously occupied by the Covent Garden Pharmacy - will house the brand’s main collection and tailoring, which includes footwear and accessories.

There will be an in-store concession from Sharps Barbers, which already has a space at the brand’s Islington store. The shop fit will be in keeping with the rest of Ben Sherman’s standalone stores.

Ben Sherman has five standalone stores in London and one at Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex, in addition to concessions in Debenhams and House of Fraser. The brand also has stores across the US and Germany.

Nash Bond and Cushman & Wakefield acted for the landlord of the new store and Orme Retail advised Ben Sherman.
