British heritage brand Ben Sherman is to collaborate with two classic American suppliers - Alpha Industries and Pendleton Woolen Mills - for autumn 15 niche menswear ranges.
Military specialist Alpha has created variations of its signature nylon flight jackets using military-specification fabric. Available in green, blue and a mix of both colours, the jackets’ details include pockets on the sleeves, ribbed hem and cuff, and gingham lining.
Oregon-based Pendleton has put together three versions of its trademark checked shirts - a green-gold plaid, a take on Black Watch tartan and a combination of the two. All are made from woven-in-the-USA Pendleton wool fabric and feature a Ben Sherman-branded chest pocket, button-down collar and cupro lining.
Both partnerships will launch in stores and online later in the year. Price points are yet to be confirmed.
Founded in Brighton in 1963, Ben Sherman was acquired by Atlanta-based clothing company Oxford Industries in 2004.
