Bench raids Holy Group for new wholesale chief

Young fashion brand Bench has appointed Sebastian Prallet to the newly-created position of chief wholesale officer.

He will be responsible for the company’s 1,500 wholesale customers worldwide, 700 of which are in Germany. He will be based in Munich and report to Dr Bruno Sälzer, who is due to become Bench’s new chief executive and chairman by December 1.

Prallet joins from the Holy Fashion Group in Switzerland, where he has been head of international sales of menswear and womenswear for the Joop brand since 2010.

He has previously held senior sales positions at the Adidas Group.
