Bench ramps up footwear range

Young fashion brand Bench will unveil an expanded range of footwear for autumn 10 at Berlin trade show Bread & Butter next week.

Following its launch this time last year, the footwear collection has been ramped up by 50% for autumn 10 to comprise 25 women’s styles and 25 men’s, featuring fashion and sports-led footwear.

Bench head of product and marketing Rob Griffiths said:

“The collection is going to be far broader and more comprehensive for autumn 10.”

The footwear range is designed in-house.

Bench will also showcase its autumn 10 clothing collection at the fair, which runs from January 20-22 at Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport.

Prices will be unchanged against last year, at £6 to £76 for womenswear and £8.50 to £68 for menswear.

The men’s range features bright colours on tops, tailored pea coats and duffle coats. Womenswear includes long-line vests, knitwear, leggings, with metal detailing and iridescent materials key.
