Betty Barclay bags new chief exec

Stacey Booth, former sales director at womenswear brand Bianca, has been appointed UK chief executive of Betty Barclay.
Booth, who will take up her role at the German brand in early December, replaces Denise Shepherd, who left in May.

Booth said: “It’s a fantastic company with high recognition – it is a great step forward for me.”

Betty Barclay has 270 UK accounts for its mainstream womenswear, which hangs alongside Fenn Wright Manson. It recently opened five concessions in House of Fraser stores – its only UK retail presence.

Booth, who will remain at Bianca until November 9, will be based in Betty Barclay’s London showroom. She will not be directly replaced at Bianca, but her responsibilities will be covered by the existing team of three UK sales managers, reporting to the brand’s international sales director.
