Beulah London seeks crowdfunding for growth

Ethical luxury womenswear brand Beulah London is looking to raise an additional £250,000 to scale up its product range and invest in marketing and new hires.


UK social enterprise investment fund Mustard Seed has already pledged to give £250,000 to Beulah, which aims to empower women trapped by human trafficking through its Beulah Trust, which in turn supports women’s charities.

Founded in 2010 by Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs and Lavinia Brennan, the brand has attracted high profile fans including the Duchess of Cambridge, Jessica Alba and Princess Eugenie. Its products range in price from £30 to £765, spanning tops, skirts, dresses, jackets, trousers and bags.

It made a turnover of £340,000 last year and £1.4m since the brand was established. No profit or loss figures have been given.

It is launching the crowdfunding campaign through platform SyndicateRoom.

”Growth has been entirely organic to date and we feel that now is the right time to capitalise on the success we have achieved through further investment in our business,” said co-founder Rufus Isaacs.

Beulah has a store in London’s Belgravia and sells online.
