BFC launches Hong Kong London Showrooms

The British Fashion Council (BFC) is to launch its London Showrooms in Hong Kong this week.

The showroom at The Space Gallery, 210 Hollywood Road, will be sponsored by global supply group Li & Fung and will promote British designers overseas including the winner of this year’s BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, Jonathan Saunders, who will also present his autumn 13 menswear line.

The showrooms, which will be open from November 6 to 8, will for the first time exhibit six emerging menswear designers including Newgen recipients Lee Roach, Shaun Samson and William Richard Green.

E.Tautz, will also showcase his autumn 12 collection during the three days showcase alongside special menswear guest, Aitor Throup.

In June the BFC said it planned to expand its promotion of London designers overseas following the appointment of Barbara Grispini to the “stronger” role of head of project and designer brand development consultant for London Showrooms.
