The British Fashion Council (BFC) plans to boost the international presence of its London Showrooms after promoting Barbara Grispini to curator and brand development consultant.
Grispini has worked as a consultant to the BFC for 11 years, developing the international buyers’ relations programme for London Fashion Week, helped provide business support for emerging talent and develop London Showrooms, which seeks to raise the profiles of British designers in international markets.
For the last year Grispini has been working as head of project and designer brand development consultant for London Showrooms. In her new position she will drive the showrooms initiative in overseas markets and enlarge its media and buyer outreach.
BFC chief executive said: “Barbara’s contribution to London Showrooms has seen it become a significant promotional platform for British designer businesses in international markets and we look forward to her continued support as curator as it continues to grow.”
