BFC rejigs press and marketing roles

The British Fashion Council (BFC) has combined its PR and marketing personnel to create one communications team.

The reorganisation comes following head of press Gemma Ebelis’s decision to leave the BFC after six years. The newly-combined team will be led by head of marketing Clara Mercer, who has been promoted to head of communications.

Ebelis will become an independent consultant and will continue her relationship with the BFC in 2015, consulting on projects including Creative London, a BFC partnership with the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
