BFC unveils winners of eco fashion mentoring scheme

The British Fashion Council has revealed the winners of a programme to help develop eco-fashion businesses as part of its ethical fashion initiative Estethica.

Six eco-designers have been selected to receive support from one of three industry mentors; brand consultants Susanne Tide-Frater and Yasmin Sewell and buying consultant Bev Malik.

The winning designers are Ada Zanditon, Christopher Raeburn, Goodone, Minna, Nina Dolcetti and The North Circular.

The three mentors will support the winners with brand development and will offer advice and support throughout the season, as well as helping with editing and display at London Fashion Week and at the dedicated Estethica press and buyers day.

The initiative is supported by the London Development Agency and aims to increase opportunities for ethical designers competing in the mainstream market.
