BHS Oxford Street flagship lease sold

BHS has sold the lease for its Oxford Street flagship to Oxford & City Holdings.

BHS is sold by Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia for £1 to Retail Aquisitions

The deal, which valued the lease at around £55m, completed last night. BHS is expected to remain in the store until the end of the year.

Oxford & City has agreed a pre-let to Polish retailer LPP, which trades under the fashion fascia Reserved, for 106,000 sq ft across the ground, first and second floors.

LPP’s portfolio also includes fashion brands Cropp, House, Mohito and Sinsay. Reserved is LPP’s largest brand and comprises menswear, womenswear and kidswear. Prices range from £5 for a T-shirt to £60 for a parka.

BHS declined to comment on the sale.
