Holdway joined House of Fraser in April 2013 and was previously brand director at Wickes from October 2010 to April 2013 and brand director at Littlewoods from March 2009 to October 2010.

He has also previously held marketing roles at Woolworths, Mothercare and WH Smiths.

House of Fraser is currently recruiting for a replacement.

At BHS, Holdway is working on a number of new marketing initiatives set to launch in the second half of the year, one of which will be focused on fashion.

He replaces Georgina Whalley, who became marketing director for the UK and Ireland at New Look in January.
