Big hitters to speak at Drapers Next Generation event

Net-a-Porter co-founder Mark Sebba, Coast chief executive Kate Bostock, Mothercare chief executive Mark Newton-Jones and designer Patrick Grant are set to speak at Drapers’ careers event Next Generation on April 16.

The retail heavyweights are the first names announced as part of a glittering line-up that will give careers advice to aspiring first, second and third jobbers at the annual event, held this year at 30 Euston Square in London.

They will be joined by George at Asda’s senior buying director for women’s, lingerie and essentials Helen Connolly and senior merchandise director for women’s, lingerie and essentials Jo Nicholls, who will take part in a question and answer session on the buying and merchandising career path.

More names will be announced in the coming weeks for the event, which is sponsored by Coast, Oasis, Warehouse, N Brown Group and headline sponsor Matalan.
