Bomb found in JJB in Belfast

A partially exploded bomb was found in a JJB Sports store in Belfast, Northern Ireland during the night.

The device was discovered at the JJB Sports on Royal Avenue this morning.

A statement from JJB Sports said: “A small incendiary device that had partially detonated overnight was discovered this morning. It was not sufficient to raise the fire alarm and was discovered prior to the store’s opening. It was dealt with efficiently by staff and the emergency services. Nobody was harmed and a criminal investigation is ongoing.”
