Boohoo launches German language site as international sales climb

Pure play etailer Boohoo has launched a German language website, its third local language site in the past year.

The German site follows launches in France last October and Spain in May. It will be supported with a marketing campaign in Germany.

Three currencies - Swedish Krona, Danish Krone and Norwegian Krone – have also been added. Previously six were available - Euros, US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, New Zealand Dollars and British Pounds.

For the year ended 28 February 2014, international sales accounted for 35% of total sales. Boohoo said the German launch and additional currencies would “further extend Boohoo’s global presence”.
