Learn more's parent sees profits soar in 2011

Pinstripe Clothing, the parent company of young fashion website, saw pre-tax profits jump 80% last year as its turnover also shot up by 85% to £24.5m in 2011.

Pre-tax profits climbed from £77,000 to £139,000 during the year, with staff numbers also rising from 84 to 152.

According to reports filed at Companies House, the growth was aided “through increasing its customer base, its range of product lines and product depth”.

Director Mahmud Kamani said the main focus for the company was to continue its growth through trying to attract new customers and then growing the company’s infrastructure to serve the new customers.

He added: “Significant investment in its customer service and warehouse staffing has enabled the company to provide an efficient and effective service that the customer has been able to benefit from.”
“We believe the company is equipped well for the future trading year.”
