Boohoo’s value soars to £1bn

Boohoo has been valued at £1bn for the first time on the expectation of rising sales this year.

The young fashion etailer, which has benefited from international growth this year, is expected to announce a 33% rise in sales to £257m, later this month, the Daily Mail has reported.

The founding Kamani family sold shares worth £300m in 2014, but they still own 44% of the business. Their share is worth about £440m.
