Boy dies after Topshop ‘store furniture incident’

A 10-year-old boy has died after suffering serious head injuries following an “incident involving store furniture” at a Topshop store at the Oracle Shopping Centre in Reading, it has been reported.

He was taken to hospital yesterday after being injured, and died later at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Thames Valley Police have said.

His death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious, the BBC said.

A spokesman for Arcadia has not yet responded to Drapers’ request for comment.
