Bracknell Lexicon launch delayed, Fat Face signs up

The Lexicon, the new £240m retail and leisure development in Bracknell, will open on 7 September 2017, later than the spring 17 date it had originally pencilled in.

It has also emerged that lifestyle retailer Fat Face has signed up to The Avenue, one of the new streets for fashion at the site, which will be bookended by Marks & Spencer and Fenwick.

The Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) said the opening has been rescheduled “to coincide with the completion of the upgrading of some of the materials and buildings in the scheme, as well as the completion of new areas of public realm to ensure that the new scheme provides a totally new customer experience”.

Other retailers set to open at The Lexicon include H&M, Topshop Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Burton, River Island, Primark and Foot Locker.
