Young fashion brand Firetrap has appointed former Nike integrated seasonal product planning director Sjors Bos as brand director.
As well as overseeing product distribution, sourcing, sales and marketing strategy, Bos will also be responsible for increasing the brand’s focus on denim, driving new business in overseas markets and representation of Firetrap within key UK retailers.
Bos said: “It is all about partnerships and engagement with our customers. With stores including USC and Scotts, we will be ensuring that the shop-in-shop fixtures represent the brand vision more clearly.”
New developments for autumn 09 at Firetrap include printed herringbone shirts with faux-fur collars and cuffs and heavy gauge knitwear for men. Womenswear includes an expanded leather offer in soft nappa, crumpled and metallic effects and snakeskin prints.
