Brand founded by Belgian baroness to open London store

Luxury womenswear brand Maison Ullens will open its first permanent UK store at 194-196 Walton Street in London on May 21.

The brand, which was founded in 2010 by Belgian baroness Myriam Ullenhall to provide women with “chic travelwear and sportswear”, is available through 100 points of sale in more than 50 cities worldwide, including its two stores in Paris and Aspen, US.

Maison Ullens ran a pop-up at 206 Walton Street in London from December 2014 to April before snapping up the permanent store.

The 430 sq ft space will stock the brand’s ready-to-wear range, which features knitwear made in Italy and leather made in France.

Prices for spring 15 range from £500 for entry-level knitwear to £2,800 for a reversible leather jacket. Dresses are around £700.
