Brand Lab hires Burberry's former UK sales boss

Online fashion wholesale platform Brand Lab has hired former head of UK sales at Burberry, Amanda Osborne, to lead its international business development team.

Osborne has most recently worked as owner and founder of consulting and management company Brand Studio, which she set up ten years ago.

She has previously held roles including managing director at British designer label Amanda Wakeley, where she worked for two years until 2007, and UK managing director of Italian brand Gianfranco Ferre, which she held for a year after joining in 2003.

Osborne also headed up the UK sales team at Burberry from 2001 to 2003. She will join Brand Lab in September, where she will promote the platform to retailers and buyers.

Brand Lab chief executive Jennifer Drury said: “[Osborne’s] international experience over the last 25 years in the fashion business puts her in an ideal position to oversee and develop the company’s sales strategy in both the short and the long term, and will ensure Brand Lab builds the key relationships necessary on a worldwide basis.”
