The shortlist of brands nominated for the 2011 Drapers Fashion Awards has been unveiled today.
Finalists in the brand category were selected across four categories by a panel of expert Drapers journalists in what proved to be a highly competitive field of entrants from across the branded fashion sector.
The awards, due to take place this year at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane on November 16, celebrate the very best in today’s fast moving fashion retail business, from the newest indie to the most successful multiple operator and recognise the talent behind the business success stories.
The shortlist for the retailer categories were announced on September 2 but the finalists in the brand category were not officially unveiled until this morning.
Caroline Nodder, Drapers editor-in-chief, said: “Congratulations to all the brands who are shortlisted in this year’s Drapers Fashion Awards, they join the other finalists in the retail categories to complete this year’s list. The Drapers team is out on the road as we speak visiting and researching finalists in preparation for the meeting of our expert panel of judges towards the end of October. To have got this far is a real cause for celebration and I wish all our shortlisted brands and retailers the very best of luck in the next stages.”
