BrandAlley has launched its first mobile-friendly site as it plans to double sales via mobile this year.
The retailer, which runs five Sales each day with up to 70% off items, is the first private Sales site to launch a mobile platform in the UK.
The etailer is targeting 10% of all revenue to come via the channel in the next year. 40% of its shoppers have already bought products using a mobile device.
BrandAlley marketing and PR director Melissa Littler said: “With online access via mobile forecast to outgrow computers in 2014, we’re ready and able to take advantage of this. Our members are savvy shoppers who want to get a great deal wherever they are at a time that suits them.”
The mobile site, built by Usablenet, fully replicates the user journey on Brand Alley’s main site.
