Brands praise high footfall at Bubble

Kidswear trade show Bubble played host to 280 kidswear brands as labels reported a bustling show.

The show, which was held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, ran from January 27 to 28.

While talking to Drapers many brands anecdotally spoke of how busy Bubble had been, with many claiming it was very busy on Sunday.

“Footfall has been very high,” said the sales director from Swedish brand Leopold and Livie. Dominie Cripps, head of brand at Joules, said the show had been very busy with lots of buyers visiting the stand.

For autumn 13 the show launched Nest, a showcase of up and coming brands. Exhibitors included French brand Luxe des Anges, new British brand Quack Quack Moo and accessory label Blooming Baby Showers.

Bubble also tapped into the “Made in Britain” trend, and continued to endorse labels that design and manufacture in the UK through its Homegrown concept. Flying the flag for British brands this season were kidswear labels including Brit Chic, Gravel & Grass and Bluebird.
