Bread & Butter said that last weeks’ edition of the event had attracted the most it had ever recorded since it relocated to Berlin-Tempelhof Airport five seasons ago.
The tradeshow said that there had been a “distinctive rise” in the number of visitors from the UK, Austria, Switzerland and the Scandinavian and Benelux markets. However the show did not disclose visitor numbers.
There was also a rise in numbers visiting from Eastern European markets including from Russia.
It said that approximately 60% of visitors were from overseas, and that 100 different countries had been represented at the show, which took place last Wednesday through to Friday.
Bread & Butter had around 580 exhibitors last week.
Managing director Karl-Heinz Muller said: “I’m extremely satisfied wit the event, and both visitors and exhibitors were able to report excellent results at Bread & Butter.”
The next edition of Bread & Butter will take place January 18-20.
