Troubled Berlin trade show Bread & Butter is offering exhibitors an “early bird rate” if they register before April 15.
The show, which will now take place at the same time as the other Berlin exhibitions from July 7-9 at Airport Berlin-Tempelhof, is offering brands an early rate of €149 (£107) per square metre. The normal rate is €249 (£178) per square metre.
B&B was declared insolvent in December, so it will host the July edition under a new company called Bread & Butter Tradeshow.
In a letter to exhibitors, B&B founder Karl-Heinz Müller said: “The new company is not affected by the insolvency and is equipped with the necessary funds to realise the future events. All prepayments will be administered by an auditor law office on an extra escrow account, so our exhibitors have the greatest possible financial security.
“It is in all of our interests that we return to our former strength. Please support our efforts and place your trust in us once more. Our industry needs a strong, international trade show.”
