Brexit ‘biggest concern’ for UK retailers

A third (32%) of UK retailers have said Brexit remains their biggest concern for the year ahead, a new survey indicates.

The research, carried out by YouGov on behalf of energy company Npower Business Solutions, found that difficultiy in remaining competitive was a primary concern for retailers, followed by unexpected costs to their business.

When asked what they would like the incoming government to prioritise when it comes to energy policy, more than a third of respondents (37%) said decreasing business energy costs.
