A British brand aimed at boys aged 18 months to 10 years has launched its debut collection.
Wetherby-based Lucas Frank has been created by mother of one Sarah Beveridge and comprises quality garments ranging from hoodies and jackets to t-shirts and polo shirts. All items are designed by a UK team headed by former Marks & Spencer Kids and Armani Junior designer Kate Ball.
Lucas Frank is launching into 27 stockists in the UK for its first season, and Beveridge is now looking to secure US stockists. It is also available online. Retail prices start at £14.99.
Beveridge said: “I spotted a gap in the market not only for decent boys clothing, as the emphasis in retailers seems to be heavily weighted towards girls ranges, but also for fashion that is purely aimed at young boys that wasn’t simply mini versions of adult male clothes.”
Ball added: “Lucas Frank has a very strong, traditional, British heritage, from the cut and quality of the clothes to the brand image and ethos.
“Every item is very distinctive and includes unique detailing specially designed for Lucas Frank, such as double stitching, quilted materials and complimenting colour palettes.
