Representatives from the four industry organisations met for the first time formally at the International Festival of Fashion and Photography in Hyères in France to discuss issues around sustainability, digital, ecommerce and fashion weeks.

Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode (FF) chairman Ralph Toledano and executive president Pascal Morand were present at the meeting, along with Steven Kolb, president and chief executive of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA); Carlo Capasa, president of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (the Italian Chamber of Fashion); and BFC chief executive Caroline Rush.

They agreed to be more proactive in sharing knowledge and opportunities to work together in future.
