British Footwear Association CEO to step down

The chief executive of the British Footwear Association, John Saunders, is stepping down from his role.

Saunders will leave the association in February, and a search for his successor has started.

Saunders joined the BFA in April 2013 as sales and marketing director. He was promoted to CEO in November 2014.

He spent eight years working for Scholl Footwear in a variety of roles including European business development director. Before that, Saunders worked at footwear brands Van Dal and Start-Rite.
