Brora to open Glasgow store

Luxury cashmere brand Brora has announced the opening of a new store on Glasgow’s Ingram Street.

The 750 sq ft shop will be open on 14 September, the day after Brora launches in four John Lewis stores.

It is located in a former Agent Provocateur store, and is located close to Mulberry, Gant, Armani, Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren.

Most Brora pieces are British-made, with tweeds, silks and wool heavily featured alongside cashmere collections. The brand has fourteen stores across the UK - three in London, and in Edinburgh, Cambridge, Bath and Harrogate, as well as an international store in New York.

Founder and Creative Director Victoria Stapleton said that the brand had been keen to open a shop in Glasgow “for a while”.

“When the stunning corner pitch became available on Ingram Street, we were quick to decide”, she explained. “We have many loyal local customers, who I’m sure will be pleased to see our Scottish made cashmere and ever growing clothing collection available in the heart of Scotland’s retail centre.”
