Brothers sentenced for Croydon riot thefts

Two brothers have been sentenced for nearly three years for their involvement in the Croydon riots last summer.

Paul and Craig Cudd were part of a group to have been caught after stealing clothing from House of Fraser in the south London town.

The group also included Gordon Thompson, who earlier this year was jailed for 11 and a half years after setting the fire that destroyed family-run furniture store House of Reeves. Thompson’s sentence included a further two years for burgling House of Fraser, to be served concurrently.

House of Fraser declined to comment on the matter.
