Scordi, who joined Browns in 2005, was the first managing director at the London boutique chain, which was founded by Joan Burstein in 1970.
The appointment follows the departure of Nicole Farhi sales director David Leavens, who left last month after 22 years at the label. He is understood to have left to set up a freelance consultancy business. It is unclear whether he will be directly replaced.
Part of Scordi's challenge will be to boost sales at Nicole Farhi, after Stephen Marks, chairman and chief executive of French Connection, which owns the business, said at the group's preliminary results in March that growth had been "hard to find" at the Nicole Farhi brand.
Before joining Browns, Scordi was manager of LVMH's Louis Vuitton store on London's Sloane Street.
Prior to that, she was the finance manager at LVMH UK and retail finance manager at retail group Kingfisher.
Nicole Farhi declined to comment on the new position and Scordi made no comment.
