Bubble to relaunch at Pure

Kidswear trade show Bubble is to relaunch at Pure London in February.

Bubble, owned by ITE, was cancelled in April due to consolidation in the kidswear sector.

It will now take place as part of womenswear trade show Pure London, which ITE bought earlier this year, merging with Pure’s own kidswear section which was introduced in July.

Bubble London’s event director, Lindsay Hoyes, said Pure London is the ideal new home for Bubble.

“I am delighted that the childrenswear industry will now be able to participate in the largest trade fashion event in the UK and experience the business opportunities this comprehensive offer will undoubtedly generate for buyers and brands alike.”

Gloria Sandrucci, the head of sales at Pure London, said Bubble’s closure caused “huge disappointment” in the industry and the need for a platform for kidswear was apparent.

“Following Pure London’s sale to ITE Group, our introduction of Pure Kid last season, and lengthy research amongst retailers and brands, it became apparent how much the industry wants and needs a platform for kids.

“Pure London now offers its visitors womenswear, menswear, childrenswear and sourcing show Origin all under one roof, creating London’s largest festival of fashion.”

The menswear section of Birmingham trade show Moda is also moving to Pure London in February.
