Burberry has appointed Gavin Haig as its first chief commercial officer.
Haig joins the fashion label after four years as chief executive at Belstaff. He will take up his newly created role on 23 April. The new position will see him take responsibility for all regions in which Burberry operates.
He previously spent a decade at Cartier, where he led commercial teams globally as managing director international. He has also held senior positions at Alfred Dunhill and Wedgwood.
He will report to Marco Gobbetti, Chief Executive Officer of Burberry Group plc.
