Burlington Arcade sale completes

The deal to sell London’s Burlington Arcade to a private investor for £300m by owner Thor Equities has completed.

Thor Equities bought the retail destination for £104m in 2010.

Founded in 1819, the Burlington Arcade is the longest covered shopping street in the UK, uniting Piccadilly and Bond Streets in the heart of Mayfair. With approximately 37,000 sq ft of retail space, the Arcade today attracts more than four million visitors a year.
