Footwear brand Butterfly Twists will this week launch its first global online video campaign for spring 15.
The ‘Anytime Anywhere’ campaign features 50 videos ranging from five to 20 seconds in length, filmed by creative agency Fred & Farid.
It promotes the idea that Butterfly Twists’ shoes can be worn for any occasion, from picking up the kids at the school gates to evening events.
The videos will be available on the brand’s website and through social media. When visitors to the Butterfly Twists homepage type a certain keyword into the search bar at the top, they will be shown a corresponding video.
The videos will be launched to a selection of bloggers on March 18 and the general public on March 19, and will stay live on the website for the following two months.
Butterfly Twists co-founder Emmanuel Eribo said: “This is our first global campaign and we have put a great deal of investment behind it.”
The brand, which produces shoes made with a memory foam sole, was founded in 2007 and launched in the UK in 2009. In 2012 it received investment from global brand management company Pentland group, which also backs Speedo, Lacoste and Ted Baker footwear.
In the UK Butterfly Twists is sold in House of Fraser, Office, Joy, Sole Trader, Very.co.uk and Cloggs.co.uk. Retail prices range from £25 to £70.
