Buyer Adam Jagger to exit Topman

Adam Jagger is leaving Topman after just six months as buying manager.

Jagger joined the Arcadia-owned chain in April from York independent Coggles, where he had been buying director for two years.

He is currently working out his notice at Topman. It is not known what his next move will be.

A spokeswoman from Arcadia declined to comment on whether he would be replaced.

Jagger’s previous roles have included buyer for premium menswear at Asos. However, he spent much of his career at Coggles, which fell into administration in May, starting there in 1995 aged 15 and working up to store manager in 2000.

More than 60 people were made redundant when Coggles collapsed, including chief executive Mark Bage.

The business’s online arm, www.coggles.com, was later bought out by etailer The Hut Group, but no jobs were saved.
