Cacharel boss departs

Philippe Cardon, the chief executive of Cacharel, has left the business after only a few months in the role.

Cardon who joined the French fashion house in autumn is understood to have clashed over his strategy for Cacharel with its owner Jean Bousquet.

Cardon had planned to expand the label and open up to 20 Cacharel stores.

Design duo Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto of Eley Kishimoto were appointed to reinvigorate Cacharel's fashion collections last October.
